Assassin

Bound to the shadows and wedded to death, warriors of the Assassin class are silent, faceless hunters. Even when you can see them, you cannot know them, for the true nature of an Assassin is always hidden beneath a cold, featureless mask.
‘Men do not beat drums before hunting tigers.’

Beggars’ Alliance

After years spent as martial arts outcasts, with the dawn of the Song dynasty the Beggars’ Alliance was at long last able to establish itself as a school of Kung Fu in its own right. Following the revolution in the Chinese cast system, the Alliance has grown rapidly, and its members are right to consider themselves one of the most powerful classes in the world.

Minstrel

Though they are relatively few in number, the Minstrel class practise one of the most ancient forms of Kung Fu in the realm. Unlike many of their rival classes who favour physical or ranged attacks, the Minstrels favour one of the most difficult — but most deadly — art-forms of all: traps. A cunning, solitary class, Minstrels laugh merrily as they confound their victims with their strange powers and lure them into their deadly traps.
‘Running, he saves his own life and that of the tiger. This is not cowardice; it is the love of life.’

Pyromancers believe the Holy Fire will bless them to be reborn, and would rather die in combat than flee from battle.

Honed through meditation and a life of isolation, Taoists possess great mental strength.
